Zirconia
Cubic zirconia (CZ) is one of the most popular synthetic gemstones in the jewelry market. Our CZ is made from zirconium dioxide (ZrOâ‚‚) with added yttrium oxide. Originally developed by Soviet scientists in the mid-20th century for electronics, optics, and medical applications, CZ quickly gained recognition in jewelry for its brilliance, transparency, and dispersion. Today, CZ is widely used as a diamond simulant and is available in a wide range of colors, color-changing options, and opaque shades, with increased hardness up to 9 on the Mohs scale.
At our facility, we produce CZ crystals using a crucibleless method, which allows precise control of the high-temperature melt without damaging the chamber. Our process heats the desired mixture at the center while keeping the surrounding walls solid, creating an ideal temperature gradient using laser, induction, or microwave heating. This method enables us to grow high-quality crystals with ultra-high melting points (above 3,000°C), producing durable, gem-quality cubic zirconia for jewelry manufacturers worldwide.
